Cutting Back on Social Media
As we have stated in our meditation section, anxiety is caused by living in the future rather than living in the moment. Social media is something that we tend to use to escape the present moment. At least for me I frequently find myself fumbling for my phone to mindlessly scroll when I am feeling stressed or anxious. This is what can lead to it becoming a very unhealthy habit. Try monitoring how you feel each time you reach for your phone to hop on social media. If you feel anxious or FEAR in general put the phone down, take some deep breaths and remind yourself what you are doing in the present moment and the things you can get done if any to relieve your FEAR.
