Doing Things that Suck

One of the favorite things that I like to tell myself throughout a day is that if I don’t want to do something because it seems hard then that means I probably should. If I go to the gym and I don’t want to do squats because I hate them I will do it because it is going to push me outside my comfort zone which is where you see results. If I don’t want to research a particular topic because I find it hard to focus on then that means I definitely should because it will help exercise my brain. If everything we do in a day is easy and nothing challenges us then we are simply just existing. It is important to try to do at least one hard thing a day that the old you would have turned away from. This is one of the best ways to become a better version of yourself.
