Keeping an Open Mind

One thing that is important when searching for a good job is to keep an open mind to multiple industries. Do your research on things that do not require a degree but can pay good wages. If you have trouble getting into the industry you choose, try another one you feel comfortable with. Sales for example is a great industry to get into when you are looking for a quality job and it can open up so many doors down the line as well. Don’t be afraid to do something new and just keep applying. The best tool against defeat is persistence, and the more you put yourself out there the more it is only a matter of time.

Whatever job you end up taking does not have to be what you do for the rest of your life. In fact, if you want my advice I personally do not like staying in one place for too long. Once you have mastered an industry there will be so many more doors that will open to you and if a better opportunity arises you should do your research of course, but you should take it. Keep moving up in life, there is very little reason not to. Once you have gotten the job you want you should be confident that you now know how to do it again. I always liked to use jobs to simply save to be able to fund other businesses or ideas I wish to pursue in the future. A lot of times this can mean sacrificing a bit of standard of living in the short term to live how you really want in the long term. You are always better off living below your means and saving money rather than living paycheck to paycheck. Get that good quality job, save your money and later you will be able to do so much more. Life is all about leveling up yourself. A job is usually the first step to this unless you have a free place to live for a while and from there anything you could dream of can become reality in time.
