Knowing What You're Good at
Finding out what I wanted to do and more importantly what I was good at in the business world was probably the hardest thing for me. My problem, like many, was usually that I would pick something up for a while and get really into it then I would move on to something else before ever MASTERING what I had chosen to jump into. It took me a long time to realize I wasn't going to get rich in most industries jumping in with no experience. There are people in every field with 1,000s of hours of experience competing for their share of the market. To find success in any field you must know what field it is you wish to Master. Once you have mastered one field you can learn other fields and go on to do even bigger things than you ever imagined. This DIRECTION will give you the money you need to start up other ventures and dreams that you wish to pursue. For now, you must trust me and know that an Expert in one trade is better than a jack of all trades, especially when it comes to making money.
Write down the things you are good at and what you enjoy doing in order to get a good understanding of what fields may be a good fit for you to master. Your natural abilities should give you a head start in whatever field you choose to jump into. Give yourself a deadline to make the decision on what field you wish to master. Once you know what it is you want to do you are already ahead of most people when it comes to being a SUCCESS. Also read the book Mastery by Robert Greene. It will give you some more insight and steps on this philosophy.
