Practicing Gratitude
No matter what your situation is it is important to know that there is always somebody out there that has it worse than you and that you always have something to be thankful for. Positivity is more powerful than you may ever imagine, and negativity is inversely the same. I try to remember even on my hardest of days to thank God for all the things that I have in my life. When you are truly thankful for the things you have and keep that positive attitude, you will love yourself because of it and you will attract more positive things to your life as well. When you are negative and complain about life all the time and focus on the things you don’t have, you will end up losing the things that truly matter most. I have seen it with my own eyes many times before. Positivity and negativity are magnets, so make the right choice and be thankful for what you have. I recommend writing down all the things you are grateful for and adding to them and reading them each night before you go to sleep and as you wake up. Feel that gratitude in your heart and if you don’t then keep saying it until you do because you will be happy that you did.
